Share with the window closed
Section titled “Share with the window closed”The menubar app from 0.4.0 now comes with every install. Close the window, and phones and other computers keep reading your books.
- Two ways in. Restart in headless mode is in the Preferences menu, and Close and keep sharing is in the Connect/share menu. Both do the same thing.
- The icon takes over. It shows where your library is shared, opens it in a browser, and copies the address for a phone.
- The window comes back from the icon’s menu, and sharing picks up again when it closes.
Share with the window closed covers the icon’s menu and its settings.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- It starts from the window for now. Starting it when you log in comes in a later version.
- On Windows and Linux the icon sits in the tray. It is newer there than on a Mac.
